How do our shredding services work?
We will deliver the new empty bags and secure tags straight to your door.
We’ll collect your filled bags and take them to one of our secure depots.
Contents will be destroyed within 48 hrs, where possible we recycle all materials.
A certificate of destruction will be issued upon completion and given to you.

Our shredders disintegrate waste materials to strips of 6cm x 0.5cm. Pieces this size can be easily recycled for all kinds of new materials and purposes. That gives your waste a second life, avoiding the need for landfill.

Armishaws also operate under the Trading Standards Institute Approved Code.

Shredding Costs
You’ll be supplied bags & tags to ensure your items are securely fastened for collection and to allow us to inventory your bags.
Bags measure approximately 50 centimetres wide by 70 centimetres tall.
Price per bag is £8.50.

With over 40 years’ experience in paper recycling and confidential destruction services, you can be assured that your confidential documents have been destroyed securely. Fill your bags and tie the bags with our secure tags & arrange collection. Our trained, DBS checked operators will collect the full bags and dispose of the contents securely at one of our purpose-built depots.
In accordance with BS EN 15713, materials are recycled so you can be sure your waste is disposed of responsibly with as little impact on the environment as possible. The Armishaws Group have set our own Eco Pledge with a commitment to planting over 2,000 trees and creating habitat for native species. We also use recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible and recycle our waste.

Dispatched items are not eligible for refund. If items have not been received, please inform us and we will re-dispatch the items. Please note all tag Id numbers are traced for audit purpose. If Id tags that have been dispatched but not received are submitted for destruction we will charge you for those bags and tags not received.
If you order a destruction collection, which is outside of our specified collection area and process payment, we will refund your monies within 72 working hours of transaction. We do reserve the right to charge an admin fee for this process.
If we are unable to collect your confidential waste sacks we will refund your collection charge within 72 working hours. This does not include us offering you an alternative date and time for collection.
